Sunday Green Monkeys

Hello all, It's time for Sunday funnies from Paraskevas Studios. I am trying to keep Monkeys running daily... sometimes it's good and certainly sometimes it's a little off.

Baby was a puppet that I created with my mother. She wanted me to make a Baby puppet that we could use in our Puppet show for WVVH.

You can see Baby over at www.thecheapshow.com.

So enjoy and please share this site on your walls or post Green Monkeys on your facebook page. Click below and be taken to the archive files.

Time for another Green Monkeys...

You can catch up each day by reading The Green Monkeys here. I've started doing the dailies again, not that I have the time, but I've so many requests from friends and fans who read it weekly in Dan's Paper that I had to start it up again.

You can also find a kindle book of their adventures at Amazon that looks great on an ipad. Full color from about two years of the weekly comic are available. Let me know how you like the daily. Okay, back to work.

Catch up with all the episodes you have missed....

You can catch up on all the daily comics you missed with our friends Spider and Flytrap, two lovable but very idiotic monkeys who are trying to make it in New York.

Hampton Classic drawings from Grand Prix Sunday

The first four watercolors in this group were painted on Sunday morning at the Hampton Classic Horse Show. I was in the Grand Prix tent. I bought some Whatman watercolor paper... very rare and it's like painting on heaven... I wish I had more of this paper but it's hard to find. And thanks to my good friend Jeffery Smith... I now use
schmincke watercolors... wonderful range of color.

The other drawings are from my sketchbook. Someone came up to me at the show and asked if i was a professional. I told her I had just taken up painting only a few weeks ago. She was very impressed.

Time for yet another daily Green Monkey!

It's time for another episode of the Green Monkeys. I was writing this strip for about a year and a half daily with the weekly comic running in Dan's Papers here in the Hamptons for about 12 years.

I've started up the daily comic again ... what was I thinking... I'll try to do this as long as possible. It's been fun to write them daily again. I missed them. The monkeys are very real to me. I'm sure some day I'll be walking down a street on the upper west side of the city and I'll bump into their Banana-on-a-Stick cart.

Enjoy... sign up for the daily on the Comic Sherpa website to have it delivered directly to you ..or I suppose I could just post it here every day.

Batman Reveiw

I sat through the Batman Marathon last night and was amazed at how well all the movies hold up. However the weakest part of the trilogy is still that oddball fight scene when the Joker tries to blow up the ferry boats in Gotham Harbor.

It's confusing to watch and I've seen it four times.

The final film is like an Inception cast reunion. At one point I thought Batman was going to reach for his totem and give the top a whirl to see if he was really in the movie.

It's certainly not a fun romp. The final film is dark and doesn't have the theatrics of the Joker. In a small way... Catwoman is somewhat wasted... but Alfred... Michael Caine is wonderful and he should get an Academy nomination for this one. He is the soul of the Movie. Gary Oldman is a pleasure to watch in anything and more than makes up for the HORRIBLE Tinker Tailor.

I'm going to take a Bat-Nap.

My few days in Vegas for the Licensing show.

This odd thing was walking around the floor of the show at the 2012 Licensing Show.

This is Adam my Licensing Wonder Boy.

For some reason I think this looks like my sister.

Part of our booth and the first launch of Taffy Saltwater our new book.

I think this guy let one.

Zoltar had no answers for me.

Here is where I stayed and lost some  money.

Here is that thing that must have eaten beans the night before.

Everyone loves the Penguins from Sea World.

The company that is handling me in licensing.

The guy from Adventure time.

I only took this picture to show you the carpet. Looks like old pizza.

Even Darth Vadar was there.

Time for a Homer Donut.

All the animals were passing gas.

Don's great booth. We still love Felix.

Can't remember the name of this bird but it had some name with a spoon in it.

I hate this thing.

And this....

Worst property I EVER saw in all my years of going to this show. Once Upon a Zombie? Really... has everyone gone insane?

This Blue Meany was pointing at me... I ran away.

Talking Ben and Talking Tom waving to the crowd. I think they passed gas one too many times.
The show was great... can't wait to go back next year.
